Hello Ian,

Thanks for your personal response to my email 
following my visit to the Oxfam site. I appreciated 
hearing that help is still going into Afghanistan 
be it a drop in the ocean compared to the cost of 
actually bombarding in the first place.

One would hope that we are a people now above and 
beyond war; a people that can rise above the 
bullying nations and not bully in return; a world 
of people's that will reach out with their 
resources and support the grassroots communities of 
any country without first feeling the need to 
destroy it's government.

Government is only necessary where the good people 
of the world cannot support each other for the good 
of the whole.. any 'bad' government can be lead by 
the 'good' governments of the world motivating 
their people to help the common people of the 
abused country.. a bully loses motivation to be a 
bully if even they are supported to help those 
around them.

Idealistic, maybe. Realistic, only if people make 
it so and stop living other peoples ideals of power 
and war.
